About Us
Mission - The Duluth Area Catholic School System exists to advance the religious education, formation, and service ministries of the Catholic Church and to develop the full potential of all students by ensuring that Catholic school education is viable, justly available, and equitably supported by Duluth-area parishes and the broader Catholic community.
The Duluth Area Catholic School System is a unified system of five neighborhood schools, offering a continuum of faith-based education from preschool through eighth grade to families in Duluth and surrounding communities.
Holy Rosary School (K-8)
St. James Catholic School (PreK-8)
St. John's School (PreK-6)
St. Michael's Lakeside School (PreK-5)
St. Rose School, Proctor (PreK-6)
The system is supported financially and through prayer by all Catholic parishes in Duluth, Hermantown and Proctor. It is governed by a school board that cooperates with the Diocese of Duluth to accomplish the mission to the right.
